Biggi grew up with riding pony races, parades, fox hunts and also competed in Vaulting,

 

Dressage and Show Jumping. She left Germany with a Leistungsklasse S2 (Rating in the

 

German Riding Association-FN). She was crowned “Sportsman of the Year” in 1989 with her

 

one-eyed horse, “Waldino” for her show jumping winnings within her region.

 

 

Later in her riding career she worked for a breeder whose bloodlines included the Holsteiner

 

stallion’s Landgraf, Ramiro and Calypso II and the Thoroughbred Ladykiller.  During this time

 

she was starting, showing and selling young horses as well as assisting in stallion approvals and

 

breed registration within the Baden Wuerttemberg Brand.

 

 

In 2003 she founded the Horse One-to-one Outreach Foundation, Inc (H.O.O.F.) with a mission to

 

educated horse enthusiasts, inspire children and rehabilitate and retrain horses. In 2006 H.O.O.F.

 

received the “Risk Management and Safety Award” from the North American Horsemen’s Association.

 

 

She holds an Exercise License from the California Jockey Club and is currently studying Equine

 

Science at Pierce College in Woodland Hills, California.

 

 

Since 1986 Biggi has worked in Public Relations. She has been a freelance journalist for music,

 

movies, and equestrian magazines. She is currently a frequent contributor to The Equestrian

 

News and occasionally writes for the German equestrian magazine (Reiter Revue).
