H.O.O.F. is a proud member of the Volunteers Center of Los Angeles.

The Volunteer Center of Los Angeles is a program of the Assistance League of Southern California, a social service organization headquartered in Hollywood. The league has provided essential services to needy families, children and individuals in Greater Los Angeles since 1919.

COURT REFERRED COMMUNITY SERVICE PROGRAM (CRCS)

Through the CRCS Program an adult offender may be ordered by local, state or federal court to spend a specific number of hours serving the community rather than serving time in jail or paying a fine. This alternative approach allows the offender to make a contribution to the community without interrupting the positive factors such as job, school and the family, which are vital to the restructuring of the offender's life into one of responsible community living.

The Volunteer Center matches over 50,000 court-referred offenders to nonprofit groups every year.

CRCS handles its large caseload from 14 branch offices in the municipal courts of Los Angeles County.
